The most important part of the story for me is:
In Ecuador it is considered a serious contravention to drive under the influence of
alcoholic substances or narcotics. But it is a crime if, by driving under influence, a driver
causes an accident where someone dies. In addition,
this person will be imprisoned for 8 to 12 years, will
not be able to have a license to operate any vehicle and
will pay the value of 30 unified salaries. The penalty for
a person who was drunk and caused an accident in
which one or more people have been injured and are
unable to work, is 4 to 5 years in prison.
If a person causes a fatal accident because of
negligence, incompetence, recklessness or speeding the
penalty is 3 to 5 years and a fine of 20 unified basic salaries

  4. Good afternoon teacher Caty,i am Alison Rivera from 10th "B".For me the most importan part is:
The reduced points go from 1.5 to 4,5 for the slight contraventions. Serious
contraventions are punished with 6, 7.5 and 9 points. Very serious offenses are punished
with 10 points. Finally, the authorities take 11 to 30 points of the license for crimes.
Once all the points have been lost, that is to say 30 points, the drivers are not allowed
to drive for 60 days, and they must attend a driving course. After leaving the course,
these drivers only recover 2O points. If a person loses the license more
than four times, he or she cannot renew it.

I consider that the traffic laws are to correct the behavior of people, I think that the most important thing in this reading is regarding the application of the law when they have been in an ethical state, because they prevent the normal development of other people.

I think that the most important part of this story is the one that explains that if traffic infractions are met, they are punished by the loss of points to the license, since there are from the most serious cases such as driving when you have drunk to the mildest, my part is here that explains everything I have alluded to.In all cases of traffic offenses, the authorities reduce the driver’s license points
depending on the severity of the infraction. The contraventions are classified as minor,
serious, very serious and crimes. Take good care of yourself teacher have a nice night.

I Think that of the story :

Fines in Ecuador are usually light to very severe, which can lead to the removal of points from the license or the possibility of paying basic wages.
in other cases when drivers cause accidents and they are often dead, they go directly to jail.

this is my view point ;)

In my opinion, the topic that seemed most important to me is that of infractions, since people are aware of the problems that can be caused by committing these crimes, they are minor, serious, very serious or crimes of course with consequences depending on the term given by lowering the license points for example: if they are minor they would drop from 1.4 to 1.5
And if they are very serious they could go down to 10 points and so on, thank you very much, please, that was my opinion.
